| Kitchen | The Granary is a carriage barn suite in a small building a few steps behind the main house. It is elegantly rustic, with wide plank floors and hand-hewn beams. The Granary has a large main floor plus a sleeping loft with king-size bed. It has towering windows that overlooks a hemlock grove, double-size Jacuzzi tub, small microwave for making tea, and small refrigerator for cooling beverages. There is a wood burning Franklin stove for ambiance during the winter months. While normally used by couples who are celebrating a romantic event, this suite is sometimes called upon to enjoyably house more than two people (see children under policies). Rate: $215-325/night for two people. Deduct $20 for one person only. There is a 10% discount for stays of 3 days or more, except holidays. |
